Please be aware of a few of things... first, this is not FREE. There is a monthly fee but it is not any more expensive then what the mobile companies charge for their services that do not do as much or have as much control. Second, and the big WARNING WARNING WARNING (I hope I have your attention); there is a potential HUGE security hole in this. You may put this on your child’s phone thinking they are protected but if they have an app on their device to kill tasks (like the all so popular 'Android Advanced Task Killer') then your child can disable 'My mobile Watchdog' in about 3 seconds even if you have blocked access to the task killer application. That’s right 3 seconds. I discovered the flaw while I was testing everything before giving my sons phone back to him. I also put it on my wife’s phone to test it. When she handed her phone to my son to see what he could do he had it disabled in... you guessed it, 3 seconds.

I have also found another bug (although not as significant) and that is that if the phone is started in safe mode, your child can access settings to enable and disable GPS which can disable the location feature. (I personally have not been able to get the location feature to work but I cannot say that this is not due to an error on my part rather than a problem with the application).

!! Please do not believe that your child is not smart enough to figure out how to run their device in safe mode because they are !!

I think the application is safe as long as you do not have an add-on task killer but I am still running through a few tests and I have a support ticket open to address it. We will see if they actually respond to the ticket. (I have found their responsiveness to support to be a little less than acceptable).

Our children are a great responsibility and with the technology out there they are at risk. Whither it is this application or another one, please find something or some way to keep track of what they are doing. The best of our children are 1 click away from their life being ruined. Please don’t chance it.

1. A text message never goes to my daughter's phone so we can install it
2. None of the links to "knowledge base" work so you can't find answers to questions
3. Phone number is harder than hell to find
4. Phone calls are NOT returned and you only get voicemail
5. Support links are broken and go to nonexistent pages

I know there were more things that made me angry but after spending 3 hours with it...I AM DONE. to go about getting my 45 bucks back when I can't contact anyone???

I got everything configured and then only after going on their website, you have to "add a child". To add a child, you then have to pay for it. The app isn't really free, which is very misleading. Had they made it obvious that there was a fee, I wouldn't have given it such a low rating. In addition, because I couldn't even evaluate it enough to see what it did before paying for it, I am giving it a 1. The idea is really nice, just would have been nice to try before purchasing.

Not as good as it sounds when you read the description. There are all kinds of work arounds to the program so that you child can download new apps that are not approved, get into settings, etc. They can also get around the time blocks. You can "fix" this by restarting the phone or re-installing the program, but it takes about 5 minutes for them to get around it again. Pretty ridiculous. So if I'm constantly messing with their phone the program is working the way I want it to about half the time. But if I'm going to be asking or their phone I might as well stop paying money and just look through the phone myself each day. This was supposed to help me not be the "mean" mom every day and let me monitor my childs apps and location.

Only thing this seems to be good for is reading their texts, which seems to work even if they have somehow gotten around the other restrictions (this is how I found out half the time because I would see texts during school hours when it was supposed to be blocked) Also it updates texts to the website so even if they delete it from the phone you still know what it says or what pictures they sent/received.

I mostly wanted to be able to block apps and games when my child was grounded or at school and know what she is installing to avoid her getting into social media and it doesn't really do that. GPS is also easily turned off because on most phones it is in the quick menu at the top and just required a tap on/off.

Still undecided if I'm going to uninstall it. I haven't found a better program to work with so this seems to be the only option.

***** Also not FREE is monthly or yearly subscription. Only a free 7 day trial.

Awful. My wife put this on my daughters phone and it blocked content she didn't mean to. She deleted her account, but my daughters phone was still restricted! We spent an hour trying to figure out what was wrong, as my wife didn't realize she still had it on my daughter's phone. Hours later, we still are trying to figure out how to get it off my daughter's phone. Huge mistake even trying this thing.

Thought this was the best! But then found out child could circumvent application and I couldn't see activity. First thought it was fluke. Contacted WatchDog and they told me to reset everything. Did it, but it didn't work. Child could add apps and use apps that I didn't give permission for and never got the report back on any of that. Will try something else and suggest you do the same if you really want to see and have some control.

I wanted to try this out before putting it in my teen's phone. It was very confusing and not what I expected. The point in being able to read your child's texts, for me at least, is that they have no knowledge that you're doing it. If they know you're in essence spying, they will alter their interactions with friends.
Plus, downloading the app is free, using it is not.

My teen son removed the app several weeks ago and I just now found out. He doesn't know my passcode but managed to disable the software anyway. I was never notified by My Mobile Watchdog that this happened. Instead, over the past several weeks I continued to get the usual activity reports in my inbox as if nothing ever happened. This app is a joke!

I setup my account with 3 iPhones, did manual backups to iCloud, synced them in MMWD, still getting no data. I am seeing some info from my wife's phone yet that was only setup for testing. I have emailed support several times and they are very little help. I received this from support on 1/25/16 "Hold tight, the engineering team is going to fine tune a few items that should improve the efficacy of the iCloud backups. They are working on it now, should be later today." This tells me that this is not primetime for use with iPhones, maybe it does with Android. Cancelling my account and requesting a refund.
