Itty, Bitty Brads for Your Power Nailer,
By Al the Pal "Al the Pal" (The Fruited Plain, United States) - See all my reviews
This review is from: B & C Eagle B18-1 1-Inch 18 Gauge Galvanized Finish Brad Nail (5,000 per Box) (Tools & Home Improvement)
These are fairly soft as brads go, but at this length, deflection is not a major problem. You do still have to be careful, though. These are fine for smaller chores, like fastening thin shelves in dadoes or applying trim moldings. They hold well, but are tough to remove if you misfire.

Sometimes you need just a fairly short brad and these will fit the bill. They are fairly inexpensive and work just fine for those times when a short fastener is all you need. Not a whole lot one can say about brads but you can't go wrong with these.
