5.0 out of 5 stars They are very sharp
These nails are very sharp and go into wood a long way. I wouldhighly recommend them.

1.0 out of 5 stars Who the heck is Brad anyway? These nails SUCK!
I don't know what the rest of the reviewers were using their nails for, because I couldn't even get them to go into my wall, let alone hold something up with them. Every time I tried to pound one in, it just bent in half! After using these sorry excuses for fastening devices, I have only one word: SCREWS!

I nail things. That's what I do. And these eagle B18-58's are the closest thing to nail-heaven that you could imagine. They are straight, sharp and can pretty much go through anything. I'm telling you, buy these nails, you won't be sorry.

5.0 out of 5 stars Better than the B & C Eagle B18-34 3/4" Brad Nail!, January 12, 2000

Amazing! After months of using the B & C Eagle B18-34 3/4 in. Brad Nail (5000-Pack), I finally discovered the B18-58 5/8 in. Brad Nail! And would you believe it, they're by the same company!

Just as sharp, these nails provide a whole 1/8 in. more depth! I would reccomend these over the B18-34 3/4 in. Brad Nail without ANY hesitation!

Well contrary to P/C operating manual, these brads fire just fine!! I just ordered a different size, and I have no concerns about them firing!! Go ahead and get some, they're great!!!

I've used alot of nails in my day, and I must say, these are some of the best dammed nails I've ever used. You can hit them really hard and everything. Take my advise, buy these nails.

2.0 out of 5 stars Disappointing performance, January 14, 2000
This review is from: B & C Eagle B18-58 5/8-Inch by 18 Gauge Galvanized Finish Brad Nail (5,000 per Box) (Tools & Home Improvement)
I have to say that, while I liked the way the B-18 looks, I found its performance desperately lacking. Some of the "enhancements" from the B-17 just don't justify the increased cost. For my money, the classic B-16 (the "Sgt. Pepper" of the Brad Nail) can't be beat.

These nails are outstanding. I agree with Aurangzeb. They are a major technological advancement. They are pointed, well driven, and respond favorably to the principles of adherence and cohesion. A must have in every home.

Aurangzeb should pack some of these nails on his way to Mitchell Bros. for protection from, shall we say, the elements. Besides being totally wood-compliant (!), these nails would make for a great conversation starter at Mitchell Bros. for both Aurangzeb and Trenton.
