A good entry level creel
I purchased this creel to take with me on a horseback trip in mountainous Colorado. It arrived quickly, proved to be lightweight and sturdy and was excellent for this trip. You can fit about a half a dozen pan sized trout in it with no problem. An excellent buy.

CHEAP IS THE WORD
I have had creels in the past that I used for 7-8 seasons of heavy fishing. This one is worthless. The strap is so thin it constantly twists around your neck. The first time I used it on a stream, the plastic band that is supposed to keep the top open broke in half! After that, it was totally worthless. Good construction would have had aluminum with hinges to keep...

I have had creels in the past that I used for 7-8 seasons of heavy fishing. This one is worthless. The strap is so thin it constantly twists around your neck. The first time I used it on a stream, the plastic band that is supposed to keep the top open broke in half! After that, it was totally worthless. Good construction would have had aluminum with hinges to keep the top closed like the old ones I have had. Due to my being in the Marine Corps and moving around so frequently, I hadn't had much time to fish for several years, and this creel was the first one I bought since retiring and returning to fishing. I gave it one star, but would have given it zero if they let me.
