Smooth as a Shimano Sustain!,

I bought a Gunnison 40 model, and expected it to be a so so, cheap reel that I can use for Fluke, Porgy, and saltwater bottom fishing. I put it on a not so expensive Ande 5'6" boat rod. I was totally amazed at the weight and sensitivity of the combo... and the smoothness of the reel. I own a Shimano Stradic 4000 and a 6000... and a Sustain 5000, and I am really impressed with how this Eagle Gunnison 4000 compares. Caught over 15 Flukes with this last week-end. It has held up so far. I fish on boats off of the Atlantic Highlands in New Jersey. After the 7 to 8 hour trip, I hosed it off well with freshwater, and the reel feels like new. I highly recommend with no reservations!

Works as smooth as butter, really like it. This is the second one I bought, just had to get another one after using the firt one.
