5.0 out of 5 stars Peferct Man Purse
This is the idea man purse. It looks like a backpack but provides all the pockets and space of a purse. To my delight I am able to carry all my junk without crowding my pockets and bag is masculine enough that I don't feel like I need a woman with me so I don't look foolish. Don't try to put laptop in this bag unless it is smaller than 15.4''. I tried and don't work. No...

3.0 out of 5 stars Slippery back-straps
Won't stay put for use slung over one shoulder, minus two stars. Smaller than I thought, but usable. Well-made as can be expected with Eagle Creek products, appreciate the quality but wished they thought it out better for people who use as sling bags. The unpadded straps will cut in and create discomfort after a while. A little non-slip padding might have been nice...

I hope you get bag and enjoy the lifetime guarentee that the company true upholds. This isn't my only or first Eagle Creek Travel Bag... I have three.

5.0 out of 5 stars The perfect daypack ever, October 12, 2009

Although the product may look not important, I have spent lots of time seacrhing for a daypack that is noy too bulky but yet has enough features to pack stuff for the afternoon of the evening while travelling. It also needed to be black. And I found it; the Eagle Creek Travel bug daypack is amazingly functional despite its little size. It is very portable, light and full of surprising features. I am very pleased with it and I highly recommend it.

5.0 out of 5 stars great travel pack with lots of compartments for Disney World, November 5, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
By the way, the product details says it is "fleece". There is no fleece involved in this product (thank goodness!).

I received the bag & love it. My daughter now wants one so I have to buy a 2nd as we are all going to Florida for 15 nights & using this as a purse, and to carry in Disney World & Universal. It looks amazing. I can separate my wallet, a camera, there is a dedicated cellhone pocket, a dedicated IPOD pocket with the little hole for the headphones to come out the top. With the water bottle on the side, it is awesome. The grain on the fabric is really nice also.

Well-made as can be expected with Eagle Creek products, appreciate the quality but wished they thought it out better for people who use as sling bags. The unpadded straps will cut in and create discomfort after a while. A little non-slip padding might have been nice considering the price of this little pack. Main compartment big enough to carry travel items. No body padding, so take care with cameras, etc. Either compartment deep enough to hold a book, light jacket, netbook, sketchbook or an iPad in its cover. Lightly padded rear accessory compartment instead of in front compartment, making it much more secure for wallet, passport, tickets, etc. Bottle holder expands only enough only hold narrow bottles. Key holder, pockets, one padded for mobiphone and small accessories. The back-straps aren't long enough for big and tall, but I'm just 5'2" so it's ok.

I use the travel bug as a purse and for that it is perfect. The bag feels well balanced and the shoulder straps are wide and comfortable. My only complaint is that the bottom is curved, not flat, and the bag falls over every time you set it down - very annoying. Otherwise, since it's black and small it works perfectly as a purse with shoulder straps. It's well-constructed and has all the pockets and compartments that I could wish for.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great size for day on the town, October 23, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Eagle Creek Travel Gear Travel Bug Bag (Apparel)
After reading the other reviews I decided that this should work for me. It is a great bag! I am petite and it fits my frame just like I wanted; not big and bulky like a regular backpack. The pockets are a great size and the inner pockets make sense and are very functional for things like, keys, cell phones, Ipods etc. My gripe would be that the carrying handle flops over when you are trying to zipper up the biggest pocket so I have to start zipping, move the handle and finish zipping. Kinda a pain but it is worth it to me. I also like the fact that Eagle Creek guarantees their products. We recently had a piece of luggage from Eagle Creek that was starting to fail, not in a really bad way but it was failing none less. The warranty claim was handled efficiently and they ended up replacing the luggage with a new model. For that reason alone I give anything from Eagle Creek a "thumbs up" and will be purchasing other products in the future.

5.0 out of 5 stars Travel Bug, June 15, 2010

I bought this bag to use on holiday in Disneyworld. As soon as I received the bag, I wanted to get used to wearing it and what was in which pockets while still home. It is wonderful. I love having both hands free while shopping. For now, it holds everything a purse would plus more. I even carry my lunch in it on work days. Compartment sizes are very good for all I need. I no longer have to shrug my shoulder, tilt my head or keep my hand on bag strap. I walk with my head up and no shoulder or neck pain. I think it will be great on my trip.

This is exactly the right bag for my requirements. I wanted the smallest but most functional backpack available for my iPad. The iPad fits perfectly, with good surface protection inside the back pocket. The front pocket holds my wireless keyboard, and a book. There are enough small pockets for my iPhone, adapters, etc. Absolutely perfect for travel, and I'm looking forward to a business trip next week using this backpack.

4.0 out of 5 stars Well Organized, April 5, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Eagle Creek Travel Gear Travel Bug Bag (Apparel)
I wanted a small backpack to take instead of carrying a purse when I went on vacation. This is the perfect size. It is full of organization pockets. I love the one for my prescription sunglasses-it's well padded. Also the easy to reach one on the outside is perfect for my cell phone and I've used it for my camera as well.(also nicely padded) I repeat. The special padding/linings in some of the pockets beg to be used for protecting your gadgets. The water bottle holder works well with a stainless steel water bottle but will not hold a wider plastic bottle. It holds it firmly in place but takes a little work to get it in. (practice helps) I love the bag. The only things I think could have been better are; The bag is not cut to sit very nice on its bottom...it is imbalanced and falls forward. The other thing is I wish the little hand strap on top was more padded and it gets in the way when you are trying to zip the bag closed. Over all a great buy- It has a well thought out design- Pen holder- ipod holder (I use it for a small hand lotion and bandaides) Just decide where you are putting whatever and stick to it- Then you will not be rummaging around for things but will be reaching exactly and finding what you need. Love it!

5.0 out of 5 stars Love It!!!, March 18, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I absolutely love this backpack! I've been looking for a small backpack with lots of pockets and I've finally found it. I normally carry a book, first aid kit, snacks, and wipes,(for the kids), plus my own personal items in a purse. Now I can carry all of that comfortably, as well as carry a small water bottle, it's also cute. I would definitely recommend this backpack.
