Perfect for Kindle Owners,

When you need a perfect shoulder bag to take your Kindle, personal gear, digital camera, passport stuff, tickets, wallet, and have it all immediately available in a secure bag, this is the bag for you. Light weight, excellent fabric, Low Visibility Profile, great compartments and great zippers. Eagle Creek clearly understands that you need to keep a low visibility profile for valuables when traveling. This bag is a sophisticated design - one that 'serious travelers' will understand.

A Great Travel Bag,
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Eagle Creek Travel Gear Urbanite (Apparel)
I'm so glad I bought this bag. I use it as an everyday purse now, but it's really handy for traveling because it's possible to keep things separated without having them spread over too many compartments. The bag has three main sections: a large zipped pocket, a smaller zipped pocket, and a zipped front area with smaller sections. I like that I can use the divided front area for travel documents, ear plugs, ipod, etc. while keeping the pocket for my Kindle and glasses.
The bag is very thin, but I've managed to cram quite a lot into it. I generally take it as carry on to keep by my seat with things I'll want for the flight, and then I store my backpack with all the things like camera gear and spare clothes in the overhead compartment. I've had this for about five months now, and I'm still really glad I purchased it. It's the only bag I've had where I seem to be able to keep everything straight and not have to waste time digging around trying to find things in the bottom of my bag. Everything appears to be of good quality and is holding up well despite a lot of wear and tear. It's a very functional bag, especially for travel.

Odd placement of zippers limit the available space,

Zippers are placed so that the available size is smaller than the dimensions. An iPad can fit without a case, but with the minimal Apple case, it could be in theory shimmied in, but it's not really practical. The bag is really just the size of a Kindle/Nook or trade paperback, but a hardcover book.
