Awesome bag. It might not be a Louis Vuitton but this thing is slick. It feels like something Navy Seals or James Bond would use. Sturdy, can be packed into it's own little bag, protects against the elements, and can hold a TON. I fit two weeks of clothes in it.

We used this for a 3 week trip to Africa where you can only have a certain sized soft-sided luggage on the small intra-Africa charter flights. We loved it - it worked perfectly and has a ton of room. Had no damage after a pretty rough three weeks in Africa on many tiny charter flights that land on dirt runways in the bush, as well as the large cross-continent airlines. We've used it on several weekend trips since. Great bag.

I love Eagle Creek products and this bag is no exception. This medium bag like the small model have a back flap that allows the bag to attach to rolling luggage for easy transport.

This bag can either be used in conjunction with your other luggage or taken and stowed until you need it on your trip for your finds.

This bag is about 5 inches longer than the small. The bag folds up into its own storage pouch. However, when folded in its pouch it takes up a lot of space so it is not exactly space saving to stow until you need it on your trip for your purchases.

The storage pouch is also handy for shoes or other items. I lowered it one star as the bag when used with rolling luggage is quite cumbersome at 24" in length, making the small at 18" in length more practical.

Overall this is a nice bag.

This duffel is fantastic. It's a perfect size for travel. It should fit in overhead compartments well. The material seems very durable and water-proof. The zippers and straps all look very sturdy like they should last a very long time. There is a small side pocket and a sleeve so you could carry it on a handle of a rolling suitcase as well. The shoulder strap is nicely padded. The compression straps are a nice feature too. If you don't fill it completely, you can cinch it down to a smaller size. I bought this and a large one for packing in cars. Hard suitcases take up too much room and never fit quite right in the back of a car, but duffels like this fit wherever they need to and pack down nicely if they aren't full.

We're currently doing field research in Southeast Asia. This duffel has takes the brute force of foreign airports, buses, trains, and even impromptu scooter rides like a champ. We've been carrying about 45 pounds of stuff in our No Matter What for the past month, moving every couple of days via above mentioned forms of transportation with no problem. When it gets dirty, we just hose it off in the tub, and it is good to go. It is pretty water resistant, and ours has kept our stuff dry even in pouring rain. I would buy this bag again and again... but I doubt I'll have to.

Over the years we've acquired bags from many manufacturers. One of the oldest and favorite bags was Eagle Creek, so when our young adult started traveling on a regular basis we bought this bag. It does not disappoint. The bag is tough yet flexible, with the right amount of compartments to segregate various items. The only additional item is a plastic bag for dirty shoes. This bag is perfect for various airplane bins, easy to carry, squishes to fit any cubby space, and can be thrown around with concern. Of all the bags we've had, Eagle Creek has made the best two.

Lightweight, waterproof and super convenient duffle bag (with lots of interior space!!)! We bought two for an African Safari and had no problems - either on the small flights in the bush or the international flights (as a carry on in the overhead bin).

Because there are no compartments inside, I recommend some lightweight travel bags/separators.

Highly recommend!

Great bag! and I love the No Matter What replacement policy. Eagle Creek is expensive but worth every dollar spent.
I have about 9 Eagle creek bags and packs. Every size of duffel and two mediums. I'm a touring musician and need quality bags to hold expensive, fragile equipment. I hope they continue the quality of materials and workmanship and don't try to cut costs like so many other dummys.

I have several and have used them heavily. Very durable, easy to secure and to use. A couple of extra pockets, but not extravagant. Who needs those things? Not quite a dry-bag, but almost - almost. The airlines have not destroyed mine yet.
No wheels, you'll have to carry it, but then it fits into the hold of your sailboat or your car-top carrier, without bulk.

Good quality bag. Built tough and still fairly light. I like that I can fold it pretty small and pack it, so I have back up luggage for the return when I over buy on my trip.
Great weekend bag for any travel needs that come up.
I can see me using this a lot. I seem like it can take a beating and will last long time.
Happy with this product.
