Eagle Eyes Sunglasses- Aviator Style Always in style! Features: ? Durable Nickel Silver Stainless Frame ? German-Style Spring Hinges ? Non-Slip, Soft Silicon Nosepads ? Soft Temple Tips ? Polished Gunmetal Gray Finish See Clearer & Farther Than Ever Before! Almost all animals respond to light; but it is the eagle, and other birds of prey, that have been given the gift of unparalled visual acuity to meet their own specific requirements - such as spotting tiny prey amongst their surroundings while viewed from high in the air. As humans, vision represents one of our greatest gifts-the ability to see objects that are defined by color, shape, size, details, depth, and contrast. Eagle Eyes® patented TriLenium GoldTM Lens Technology provides you with "dual-action" benefits for: 100% UV Protection Enhanced Visual Acuity. The Difference is Clear! Most conventional sunglasses allow harmful light rays in and darken useful light rays that enhance vision. Eagle Eyes® patented sunglasses make objects and your natural surroundings appear more vivid by blocking out harmful visual-distorting light, and allowing in vision-enhancing light rays. You'll see with more clarity and at farther distances than ever before without squinting, and without eye and facial strain.

I have used and really like Eagle Eyes sunglasses. What appears to be a strange color cast when you first put them on becomes unnoticeable after a few minutes. You can see more clearly in many lighting situations with these glasses than with other glasses. The adaptation of NASA technology has been very well executed.

Overall I wasn't impressed. I had a pair of original "HD" sunglasses as part of As Seen on TV line. They cost me about $14, were terrific and lasted for years. When they finally broke I was disappointed to see they were no longer offered. So, I decided the get the Eagle Eye glasses figuring that they were similar in concept and at double the price might be better. From a lens standpoint they were actually inferior. They cut down on glare and the contrast is more vivid, but everything has a strong yellow tint to it, much like the blue-blockers that came out in the early 80's. I tried on a pair of polarized Oakley's at a sun glasses shop and was blown away. Incredible clarity and glare elimination. But, they weren't cheap: $210. I think I'll try to repair my original HD sunglasses and save up for the Oakley's.

This is my second pair in the last 5 years. My son borrowed my first pair and they were never seen again. These shade are the best! Especially when your fishing--they do a great job eliminating surface glare! I will always own a pair!
