5.0 out of 5 stars Understanding the why and not just the when...., August 2, 1997
By A Customer
This review is from: The Eagle and the Lark: A Textbook of Predictive Astrology (Paperback)
This book truly allowed me to see predictive astrology in an entirely new light. I have incorporated much of the tools given in this book in my own consulting service and I have found it invaluable. The "Time Line" enables me to visually and quickly know the trends and issues of the moment.

An excellent book for all levels of astrology but particularly intermediate and advanced. It definitely belongs in every astrologer's bookcase. Fascinating reading, with cases, examples and data.

5.0 out of 5 stars Too good and insightful!, March 24, 2005
This review is from: The Eagle and the Lark: A Textbook of Predictive Astrology (Paperback)
The book explains details about transits and progressions. It explains very well about Secondary Progressions. In preface of the book, she tells story about Eagle and Lark, which gives good start off to the book.

5.0 out of 5 stars Astrologer's "A" List, July 11, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: The Eagle and the Lark: A Textbook of Predictive Astrology (Paperback)
Brady brings out the simplest of principles in predictive astrology. This book ushered me into the world of transits and progressions, and presented valuable insight into a methodology for reading for clients. When I put it into practice, I was stunned at the accuracy of the predictive work, often telling friends timelines for events that there was no indication of in their lives any place other than their chart. In the first month of serious interpretations, most clients reported back to me that the predictions were accurate within 24-48 hours of the timeline I had given.

If you are looking into predictive work, this book is a must-have.

5.0 out of 5 stars Outstanding section on eclipses, February 17, 2009
By
This review is from: The Eagle and the Lark: A Textbook of Predictive Astrology (Paperback)
This book has a fabulous section on eclipses. Bernadette did analysis on the Saros Series, which assigns a birth date to all solar and complimentary lunar eclipses experienced on earth, and came up with a birth chart for each eclipse. She offers a theme for each eclipse and catalogs dates they have occurred in the past and will occur in the future. She then offers advice on how to predict the effect of each eclipse as it appears using a synastry-transit type method that plots the eclipse natal chart against an individual's, country's or organization's natal chart. I have found this work to be very insightful and helpful in my own practice as people often experience important life shifts near the time an eclipse occurs when it aspects their own chart in a significant way. Love it!!!
