I bought these Denali binoculars based on a review of many binoculars by a birding group. They were rated higher than many costing more than $1000. Certainly the best rated in this price range. I was not disappointed. The ordinary binocs that I was used to using couldn't hold a candle to these. There was just a world of difference. I can see colors brightly and so much fine detail that was just absent before. I was amazed!!! They are easy to use and adjust, too.

Eagle Optics was recommended by birders but not this particular model, actually a more expensive model. These were recommended by a group that review binoculars for birding. Thay are excellent for the price. They are easy to use, easy to focus, you see the birds and other wildlife clearly. I am amazed when looking though them - the colors and objects I'm looking at are so vivid. This is my first pair of birding binoculars so I have nothing to compare them to. However, for an amateur like me they are exactly what I need.

I've had these binoculars for about 6 months now and I love them. When choosing binoculars I did a ton of research and I decided these were the best quality for the price. My boyfriend has 8x42 Vortex Diamondbacks and I'd say they're very comparable (only mine were less expensive!). We've noticed a difference in the focus and we both prefer our own. I feel like changing the focus on mine is a bit smoother. Another difference I've noticed is that when going from a cold dry place (indoors) to a hot humid place (outdoors in Houston), mine fog up a lot less than his do. His were unusable for a couple of minutes whereas mine were fog-free after a few seconds. We've both had problems with one of the eye cups. One of his eye cups started getting really loose and now it comes right off when he twists it. One of my eye cups started getting really hard to turn. The solution to both of our problems has been to just always leave the eye cups twisted up since neither of us wear glasses when birding. I should mention that I don't think it's Eagle Optics' fault that my eye cup isn't holding up so well. I honestly could treat them better than I do.

Overall I feel great about this purchase and I would recommend these binoculars to others. In fact, one of my friends recently got into birding and decided on these. So far he's very happy with them as well.

Pros : Light weight - eyecups adjust smoothly and are great for eyeglass wearers. Nice detail most of time but seems cloudy sometimes, maybe because of my glasses. Cons: focus wheel squeaks; not as smooth as I thought it would be. Overall pretty nice binocs. Would recommend to anyone who wears glasses...Great field of view and main reason that I'll be keeping these.

These were a gift. I have no prior experience with binoculars, but these were very easy to use right out of the box. I wear glasses, and do not have to remove my glasses to use them. I have one eye that is much worse then the other, and these adjusted fine so I could see out of both eyes. They sit on the end table by the back french doors, and have been used a lot. I wish they were stronger, they are perfect for seeing the birds at the back feeders and in the near-by trees, but not so great for trying to identify hawks and falcons in the sky overhead. Overall, I am satisfied with them and would recommend them!

We live in a high rise overlooking a 50-acre park in Boston. These binoculars are perfect for seeing the details on the ground. I know very little about binoculars but find these to be exceptionally clear and easy to use. My husband and I both wear glasses so the built-in eye cups are extremely helpful. Also, the fact that there are "tethers" built in to keep but the eye and the objective lens covers from straying is great. The 8 x 42 size means that they are a bit large for traveling, but depending on the trip (Africa? casual bird watching) we would definitely take them. Overall, we are extremely pleased!

Excellent binoculars, great clarity and light. I used to prefer 10x42 for birding but these are much better. Makes it easier to identify birds.

After much research (and education) on birding binoculars, I bought this for my wife who wanted something to look at birds on her feeders in our back yard.

These binoculars were the perfect combination of price, specifications, and reviews that I was looking for. I am pleased with my choice (as is my wife), and would recommend these to anyone looking for binoculars in a similar price range with a similar set of features.
