Excellent book on leadership. More to the point, I think, is the emphasis on attitude and outlook. As one leader explains, "If your mission is to climb a tree, do you want squirrels or do you want to hire a horse?" I have found that about half the people to whom I quoted that line didn't get it, which speaks volumes about current hiring attitudes in our country today!
This book ought to be required reading for all new managers and supervisors as part of their training before they step into their responsibilties! Actually, supervisor, manager, whatever your position, this is a must read and you will love it...you'll also laugh out loud, which will make everyone around you wonder what you're doing, thus spreading the word!
