1.0 out of 5 stars Lo Wei produced rip-off!, August 15, 2001
By A Customer
This movie was made in 1973 and originally called "Not Scared to Die". When Jackie made the 1978 movie "Snake in the Eagle's Shadow", which is consider an excellent kung-fu comedy, Lo Wei tried to capitalize on this by retitling this 1973 movie "In Eagle Shadow's Fist" or just "Eagle's Shadow Fist". Jackie only has a supporting role and is killed in this movie. It's a lousy, morbid movie. Avoid this one!

1.0 out of 5 stars because 0 stars was not an option!, July 22, 2000

This review is from: Eagle Shadow Fist [VHS] (VHS Tape)
This early supporting role by Jackie Chan will leave you wondering how he ever got another. In this he plays a resistance fighter during WW2 against the eeeeeeeeeevil Japanese, and his acting is so bad that you're almost relieved when the Japs finally kill him near the end, in one of the goriest death scenes ever. This film is relentlessly grim and gruesome, not even worth the price of a rental unless you're a crazed, masochistic fan who just can't get enough Jackie.
