Understanding Learning Differences,
By
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Eagle eyes: A child's view of attention deficit disorder (Paperback)
This author, Jeanne Gehret, writes with understanding and empathy for those (especially children) with learning differences. She uses the story to highlight some strengths often possessed by them even though they struggle with learning differences. I would recommend this book and others by this author for anyone who struggles with or loves or wants to help someone who lives with these struggles.

Help for Difficult Mornings,
This review is from: Eagle eyes: A child's view of attention deficit disorder (Paperback)
I already have Jeanne Gehret's other two books, so when Sandra Reif and Thomas Phelan recommended this book, I was impressed. It's great. Apparently the illustrations were just updated and they are rich and detailed. I especially like "The Morning Song" that is included in this book; you can actually play it on the piano and teach it to your kids to get them ready for school. - |
