As of now, I certainly recommend these headphones to those on a budget for basic and quality headphones.
B. Long
The sound quality is good and surprisingly leveled well, not too much treble and not too much bass.

The Earpollution Throw Bax are clearly styled after Panasonic's RP-HTX7 model, which I also own. The Earpollutions do come in different color schemes and I was really hoping to have a nice alternative to my Panasonics for a slightly lower price with these. Unfortunately, they just don't compare. The construction cuts corners everywhere - there is very little metal and what's there feels loose and flimsy (though it's still miles ahead of Earpollution's own plastic-fantastic Nerve Pipes). The cups are very obviously made of bare plastic whereas the RP-HTX7 has a nice coat of ceramic paint (piano finish). The pads, too, feel a little soft and cheap but not too bad at all. At least the headphones are light as a feather and encapsulate my ears fully. They can really remain comfortable for hours. The single-sided cable is thicker on the earpollutions as well, which is always welcome.

The real downfall of the Throw Bax is the sound quality - they really don't do anything particularly well. Although I admit that they are one of the better tween-bling Skullcandy/Earpollution/WESC-type headphones I've heard, they sound seriously sub-par next to reasonably-priced headphones from serious manufacturers such as Koss and Sennheiser. The bass has good impact, which is nice at first listen, but it is bloated and muddy and really shows its unrefined nature with fast trance tracks. There's not much texture or detail to the bass - just a lot of 'boom'. I'm sure many will be satisfied with that but I expected more after reading all of the praise. The midrange is severely recessed (takes a distant back seat to the bass) and lacks clarity. Everything sounds a bit soft and slow. Those who like a crisp and/or bright sound should stay far away from these.

I have another pair of EarPollution headphones, and I have to say I love both sets. This pair is a great size, light weight, and deliver a surprising amount of bass (especially using the bass booster setting in iTunes) I can't say I have any complaints for pair of 20 dollar headphones. Also all EarPollution headphones only have one wire, so you don't have to deal with the neck strangling wires that the SkullCandy headphones have.

Well, I was supposed to order the EarPollution Toxix, (Which I hear are good, but not as good as I think these are) First off, COMFORT

These are over the ear headphones, which fit comfortably over my ear. The cups are big enough to hold my head, and its completely adjustable, for any size head, even a child!

Now, sound.

These headphones produce a NICE clean bass sound, but if you don't fiddle with the equalizer, you may not get a good sound, It can sound a bit muddy if you turn on bass boost. Try putting it on any setting with good treble (The rock setting may work fine for this).

Durability,

I'm a klutz, and I carry around my backpack everywhere in my highschool. I throw my headphones into my bag, and no matter howmany time's I've fell, tripped, and dropped my bag, THESE HEADPHONES DONT BREAK!. Now I don't suggest you throw this around in a bag, filled with heavy textbooks, but you get what I mean.

Looks,

Now, Skullcandy's look good as well, but c'mon, $40, $60, $100!? you gotta be kidding me. Now, there aren't alot of headphones that look good, sound good, and come at a reasonable price. I mean, Sennheisers (which are amazing) are like $100, but don't look as nice (In my opinion of course)or you can get over priced goodlooking headphones (BY SKULLCANDY) and not get what you paid for. With these, they sound better than they look!

Affordability,

For the price of $30, in walmart or anyother store in a mall, these are a steal! Now, I'm not saying they're as good as Dr. Dre's beats, but they're close to it. Also, Skullcandies that are either as good, or worse, cost like $60! And for what?

I got these headphones after purchasing Skullcandy headphones (such as the Hesh), and these
are much better in every way. Just as the other reviewers say, these are a great value and
the construction of these headphones isn't the best, but then again, I've seen worse with
Skullcandy and others. The metal wire definitely shows it has some durability, just don't
go bending it the wrong way or sitting on them.

To me, they feel more comfortable than they look and even cancel a decent amount of outside
noise. The sound quality is nice and balanced, not distorted much in my thoughts, so they
sound nice and have just enough bass. The cord is thick, but not too thick to fit in your iPod
or Mp3 player with a case as I have, but depends on what case you have. One other thing is that
these aren't portable and foldable, but they are lightweight so that helps.

As of now, I certainly recommend these headphones to those on a budget for basic and
quality headphones.

These headphones retail for $29.99 but I only paid $18 here on Amazon. It was a no-brainer because they looked so cool and I wanted something to fit over-the-ear. They fit the bill there. I was willing to take a chance on them for $18 and hope they were at least decent. Well I think they're great for the money. They look awesome, are lightweight and sound just fine. I'm no audiophile but they sound great to me. The single sided cord is a major plus too, no more tangles!

Also, the painted ear cups are plastic to reduce weight which is good in my book. The only thing I would suggest with these to just to take care of them. they aren't top quality nor are they designed to take a beating. But they're lightweight, look awesome and sound great...all for under $20. It's an absolute no brainer. I bought 2 pair in blue, and am considering getting more colors for gifts.
