I don't know about Earl Proulux, but I have yet to see anything by Yankee that didn't have a lot of value for reading and gleaning information. This book, like anything else put out by Yankee, is worth it's weight in platinum.

This is the go to book for household problems. We use it for home & yard and it is environmentally friendly, to a great extent. I have had ant trouble both in and out of the house. The book gave several remedies that didnt involve toxic chemicals. Love it. I will browse it for fun too as it has some light reading. Just gave one to a family member. Most times what you need to clean, repair, deal with you have at home.
