I got Earl back in the late eighties. We took a road trip through the eastern states to Washington DC with him hanging from our car windows, sticking out of the trunk, stuck in the door, etc. We had people taking pictures as we drove on the highways, videotaping, cracking up. He brought us much joy and amusement. How sad I was when he was ripped in two when someone tried to steal him from the trunk. They only got his head.
