Editorial Reviews

Review

..."Early in his book, the author does a worthwhile summary of the early paleolithic culture of Europe, Asia, and Africa. The reader can see the writer has read a great deal concerning these ancient times, as indicated in his bibliography. ...

He describes in detail the sites covered, the artifacts found and the geologic conditions affecting the sites. The last 47 pages of the writing deal with the author's comments and cnclusions. This chapter has very interesting comments. Connections with early men of Africa, Europe and Asia are denied. The story of evolution versus genetics through chromosome study is pointed out by the writer. Quotations made from an earlier book by the author, "Originations of Life from Volcanoes and Petroleum," are included.

Taken as a whole, this is a fascinating work. The photos show the artifacts very well." -- W.H. Vandevender, The Arkansas Amateur, 25:8 (1986)

1.0 out of 5 stars Amateur Acheologist Sells Book, November 19, 2001

This review is from: Earliest Man of America in Oregon, U.S.A.; with photographs of Paleolithic artifacts (Paperback)
From an archeologist's point of view, this is a momentous example of pseudo Pscience. Someone has picked over a lot of indian sites in Oregon and pieced together theory and fact in the tradition of the backyard rockhound that will make any archeologist squirm. Nice pictures, but like artifacts brought home from a cave in a gunny sack, not worthy science. Sorry ... finding out this was bogus. Hard to review content when there isn't any. Yes, I have credentials, studied with Roger Greene, Bion Griffin, Raymond Firth, Wm.Solheim, Tom Kirch, Ben Finney, etc.
