Editorial Reviews

Early On is a powerful collection of 18 songs from AJ Croce's first three albums. Starting in 1993 with AJ Croce, AJ established himself as a consumate musician and songwriter. His sophomore release That's Me In the Bar from 1995 featured Bob Dylan and John Lennon alum Jim Gaines at the helm. His third album Fit to Serve was recorded in Memphis with Jim Gaines (Van Morrison, Steve Miller) taking the role of producer. From the start, AJ's music was compared to Randy Newman, Tom Waits, Ray Charles, and Elvis Costello. Standard Jewel Case.
