My piano teacher got this book for me when I was in junior high, and I finally replaced my tattered copy last year. The selection is excellent and the editing first rate. I highly recommend any of Denes Agay's books. His fingering suggestions are not at all distracting and I find them helpful.

The selection is good, consists of a wide range of composers. I just wish it is spiral bounded as it is almost impossible to keep the book open on the music stand.

The pieces in this collection range from doable to quite difficult for the semi-advanced player. Nice variety of compositions that are not repeats from other collections I have. The manuscripts are easy to read although the binding of the book is quite stiff and needs lots of bending backwards to make it sit on the piano's music stand nicely. Suggested fingering is very helpful. I'm currently working on the presto from Haydn Sonanta No. 40 which I was able to find performances of on YouTube to help interpret the music. I highly recommend this collection to anyone who seriously loves classical music.
