I am a heavy sleeper and was unsure if this would wake me up. Months after waking to its sweet chirping, it is still as lovely as the first. I only wish it had a snooze feature.

This alarm clock is adorable. The sound is peaceful but still loud enough to wake me, and the bird lighting up is great! However, the numbers aren't at all visible in the dark, and there is no way to set the clock or the alarm for AM and PM. So, every morning, after hitting the bird to turn the alarm sound off, you also have to turn the alarm itself off on the back. If not, it will go off again at the same time in the evening. But, this is really only a problem if you forget to turn it back on for the next day.

Disappointed in this clock. Difficulty in seeing hour lines as face is too light. Tweet alarm stopped working after one week. It's cute but not effective.

My daughter saw this on Fred Flare and asked for it for Christmas. The device is 1950's tech with the addition of a bird chirp recording as an alarm. You set it for a time and it will alarm every 12 hours. Runs off battery only. It works. Everything is fine except the $30 price tag. Something of this quality can be generally found in the dollar store. Worth $10 maybe. Most of the Fred Flare stuff seems similar. Lots of teen-cool hype with no substance. I used it as a consumer lesson for my daughter. Don't always believe the hype.

A nice alarm clock. Bird sounds a bit loud. No control over volume. Otherwise works well and sweet.
