This was recommended by my teacher, Arnold Chang. We went through a few verses in the book and compared with the original text in Chinese. It is comparable and very comprehensive. Since my chinese is not as good as my English, I decided this would be a good place to start learning Chinese Paintings from the old masters. If you want to start somewhere and don't know where to begin, this would be a good book for you. Since I have not used it extensively, I will only rate this as a "4". I am sure as time passes and I really learn to appreciate and learn from the book. It may change to a "5". (^_^)
