The text for this is in German, English, and French. It includes beautiful erotic photographs of female nudes. Most photos date from the 1850s or so, and follow the popular tradition of harem/slave-girl themes. Most of these photos are reproduced as full-page plates. Taschen art books are wonderful!

One unusual book!!!,

I could not believe the imagery of photos in this book!! Photos that no one could possibly expect to see during the 19th century!! The book has lots of photo's and very interesting ones if I might say so.
