The two suctions at the top will NOT stick to the window! No matter what I try they will not hold.

Neat idea, but doesn't really deliver. Suction cups don't stay on very well, and the remote option is intermittently functional.

This never worked. The monkey plays music for 3 seconds, not long enough to keep my baby happy. Do not waste your money.

This is a cute product and my son enjoys listening to the music, and the remote is a nice touch. But it doesn't really block out any sunlight and the twirling monkey gets stuck upside down. I attached the suction cups following the directions and they keep unsucking themselves. I wouldn't recommend this product if you're thinking to buy it as a sunshade for the car.

I don't think this unit is particularly well made or functional. First off it offers no "real" window shade protection and secondly the suckers don't stick well at all. The monkey and plastic housing is heavy and just pulls it away from the window. A bit dangerous given if you actually get it to stick it will at some point just fall off possibly on to your baby. The music is also rubbish. It's cheap plinky plonky electronic classic stuff. One track (on mine) descends into a tuneless mish mash of sounds before picking up the original tune again. However, I bought if for a particular purpose and for that it has worked just fine.

I never intended to put it on the side window, as another reviewer stated Baby can't see it there anyway. My intention was to string the whole thing up from the head rest of the seat facing my daughter. I have actually taken the monkey part off the shade (It just slides off, the rectangular shade just slides down the back of an opening in the plastic housing)and strung it up around the seat like that. I ended up embellishing the monkey (as it's a bit boring) by stitching colourful ribbons to monkeys arms,legs and head to add some interest when it rotates. It rotates only slowly but enough to capture my daughters interest. She's not a fan of the car and this helps to reduce some of the fussing when she's struggling. As I said the music is pretty awful so I have put a piece of tape over the speaker (on the back of housing) to reduce it's output. My only niggle is that the unit switches itself off after three hours of none use. Brilliant saves batteries! However you have to remember to click the switch up and back down to remote control mode before you next set off in the car as if you don't it won't respond to the remote.

Price was right, the remote control was nice however... it doesn't block the sun, the monkey piece is very heavy, the suction cups don't stick too well. I would not recommend this even at the low price cut.

YES! THIS ITEM IS A MUST !!WE GOT ONE FROM A FRIEND OF OURS. SHE HAD ONE FOR HER BABY AND WAS SO HAPPY WITH IT SO SHE BOUGHT ONE FOR OUR BABY AS WELL. OUR RIDE IN THE CAR TURNED FROM NIGHTMARE TO PLEASURE BABY GIGGLES AND GURGLES WHILE STARING AT IT....GET ONE AND ENJOY YOUR TRIP

This mobile is awesome. I love that it has a remote. Inside, my baby absolutely loves it! In my SUV, with the rear facing infant seat, he can't see it in the window. I plan to try to attach it to my dog barricade and I think he can see it there. Maybe in a different type of vehicle baby can see it? If so, I would say definately buy it! Works well inside attached to a window (I haven't done that) or mirror on closet door.
