While the information in this pamphlet is interesting, it really is not anything new. And the price is WAY TOO HIGH for the skimpy 30 pages found here.

Very disappointing.

Looks like they removed the flowery description of the book, made the pages smaller so it's now 30 pages instead of 20, and gave it a plainer cover since my last review. They also claim the material is copyrighted, yet you can still download the entire work for free. I think the copyright has expired.

The quality of the writing is still terrible, the reliability of the content is still questionable, and the value of this piece is still negligible. Spend your money elsewhere.

Coming from Pennsylvania and growing up German, I thought the book was just OK. I could have lived without it.

This was a very informative small book with a wealth of information about the lives of the early German settlers in America. It also emphasizes the difficulty of varying religious sects and the reason the Moravians traversed through VA to NC on a large tract they were granted by the Earl of Granville.

First of all these books were originally written back in the 1800's. I found this one to be more about where in Europe most of these early settlers came from than their actual lives here.
