This is a collection of songs that were popular for dances in pre-17th century Western European countries, as well as a few that are used in the SCA that are more modern.

The scoring is left open for people to choose their one instrumentation as they would have done in period. Great addition to any early musician's library.

It is fun to see music that is so old that people have to debate what instruments might have been used to play it! Meanwhile, we can pick it out on our modern instruments and enjoy what is found in the dots on the page!

Recommend it.
