Great for pictures,
This review is from: Early Washington Atlas (Paperback)
I don't own this, but my school's library does and I'm currently using it for an essay for my History of the Pacific Northwest class. It basically just has a ton of historical pictures and maps and useful for primary sources. It doesn't give much insight to the pictures other than a short caption and sometimes a date, but it lets you see what things actually looked like which is sometimes more informative than just a description. Would I purchase this? Not unless it was very cheap and even then it would probably either sit on a shelf or be used as a coffee table book. If you live in Washington state, it would be possible to find it at a local library.

Why isn't more information given about this item ? I assume it's for Washington State (although it could be for Washington D.C. ?) Before someone commits to spending $60.00, they should know what it's for.
