Why?'s Tight EP, November 26, 2004

If one is not familiar with this artist, it is not easy to describe his style. Sing songy, a frenetic rhyming pace, and frightfully out of tune. That aside, this vegan also happens to be a musical genius in his own right. "Darla" is an ode to a chicken destined for the slaughterhouse, who somehow makes its way to Why?'s kitchen, and is reflected upon and lamented by Why?. Why?'s instrumentation and choice of drums are unique and rather compelling, as with the
various vocal effects he occasionally makes use of. Why? simply put, is incomparable. If you like this EP, check out his full length Anticon "Oaklandaszylum" and collective cLOUDDEAD and Reaching Quiet works.
