Best Collection of Buju Banton Traks,
This review is from: The Early Years: 1990-1995 (Audio CD)
This is one of the best cd that follows the career of Buju Banton! This CD has some of the best dancehall riddims on there with the heavy reggae bass line. This cd is highly recommend to all the dancehall lovers out there. People keep talking about buju making hate music and the reason Buju made boom bye bye was because a little boy was rape in Jamaica and it anger Buju so he made that song and its not like he was just sitting around and he just got an idea out of nowhere. Everyone should research the whole story of a song and the reason behind it and instead of criticizing a great artist off of one song and you have to remember Buju never made a track like that after boom bye bye. All these ignorant people always use a song that was made in 1992, to try to make Buju seem like a bad guy, they never talk about all the conscious songs he made in the present time and they always bring back the past with a song he made in the 1992 (That was one song) when he was in his teens.

Best 'Best of Buju' Album,
By supastar (brooklyn) - See all my reviews
This review is from: The Early Years: 1990-1995 (Audio CD)
This has boom bye bye and good lookin gal, two of bujus biggest and best hits that were never on any of his albums, plus the dickie remix wicked dicke. Bogle, Stamina Daddy, even Big it Up, are other Buju classics not available on his regular albums, so overall, its a super collection. Its basically stuff, not even just before 1995, but before the Voice of Jamaica album which came out in like 93 or something, his first "crossover" album. There were some good tracks on that that could have been "best of" tracks, including the unique Tribal War with Tony Rebel, Terry Ganzie and others and Operation Ardent, Good Body and "A Little More Time," his best duet ever with Beres Hammond. There are no Beres-buju tracks on here. I'd say its a great idea though, because his older hits are better and different from his stuff after Voice of Jamaica album, and lots of people (me included) would want an album like this.
