Long long ago, in a DFW suburb far far away...
Luckily for TRS and Bryce Avary fans these tracks have been available to download on those 'dirty' filing sharing P2P clients, but unfortunately they were crappy mp3 quality (yeah...NEAR CD quality is JUST that...near), a perfect addition to anyone who's already heard the previously released full length albums of The Rocket Summer, fallen in love with them, and is eagerly...

It may be tough for new listeners to swallow as the arrangement
The driving force behind the group, 23 year old singer-songwriter Bryce Avary, reaches into his vault to unearth his first demos. Originally pressed when he was just 16 years old, this six song collection displays plenty of guitar and melody driven modern rock. It may be tough for new listeners to swallow as the arrangement and delivery are a little raw, but longtime fans...

a great start, August 8, 2007
This review is from: The Early Years (Audio CD)
Bryce Avery has been talented for a long time. This has become obvious while listening to The Early Years. There is a certain young charm to the album. I enjoy listening to it just as much as Hello Good Friend, Calendar Days, and Do You Feel. Bryce is an amazing musician who never fails to deliver wonderful lyrics and beautiful beats. I highly suggest buying this album if you are a true The Rocket Summer fan. You have to complete the collection with this short, but sweet album.
