Volume 1 is still available from Kegley Books, P.O. Box 134, Wytheville, Virginia, 24382, as well as the Boyd Museum, Tazewell Street, Wytheville, VA 24382. There are currently four volumes in the series and another due out in 2003. Volume 2 was so popular that there is a demand for a reprint which may come in 2004. Amazing amount of information about the early settlers of the New River in Virginia from court records, such as wills, deeds, court orders, marriages, and so forth. The author "let's the records speak for themselves." Many family sketches featured, and many connections to settlers in Kentucky, Indiana, Tennessee and elsewhere.
