If you are looking for the real inside scoop on how money is made in mail order from home, this book can help you. Forget all those get rich quick scams, Terry Thomas brings you inside the trenches and shows you the strategies he and other successful mail order entrepreneurs use to create huge incomes from home-based mail order operations. Terry has a real "me to you" connecting writing style. This book is not only educational, but an enjoyable look at a fascinating subject. I highly recommend this book for anyonw looking to start his or her own mail order business.

It is obvious from the beginning of this book that the author is not only truly experienced but is revealing some REAL INSIDER INFO! So many of these mail-order books just rehash the same tired junk...not this one! Mr. Thomas lets you in on the inside and lays it all out in a simple, easy to follow step-by-step method. Anyone of average intelligence could use his techniques to make some REAL MONEY in mail order. i truly great piece of work!

Why has "Nikki Hoshino" written three (slightly) different reviews for this book?

This is possibly a sincere effort, but it isn't very good for all that, and it displays its colours as a self-published (iUniverse) title all the time. In my opinion if you can't distinguish between "principle" and "principal" you shouldn't be writing a book, editor or no editor. Picky? I don't think so.

I've given it two stars because I found two interesting things in it. Though I can't remember what they are.

To be honest there are few if any good books on how to make money in mail order out there. I'm waiting on Melvin Powers's classified ads book, and crossing my fingers that it will be The One.

Seeing 'A Reader' and 'Nikki' submitting 5-star ratings multiple times should clue you in to the shadiness of this book. I had the misfortune of ordering this book before there were any reviews written about it. Come to think of it, I should have written the first review to warn others. The book is laden with typos and grammatical mistakes. Whoever proofread the draft should be fired (if he isn't already). All the info contained in the book can be found in the internet for free. The only revelation I got from reading the book is that I just made the author that much closer to his $100,000-a-year goal...

Once upon a time booksellers were perceived as honorable, their profession a noble one. One could purchase a book with some confidence in obtaining something worthwhile for the money spent. Tsk.Tsk. It appears booksellers have fallen into league with the scam artists. I was deeply disappointed to discover that any serious, reputable bookseller would carry such titles as this. The first thing you learn in Mr. Thomas' book is that it is NOT "the complete guide" as in the very introduction he refers to the "other materials you received" with the book and touts it as a 'Home Study Course'. He then assures the reader of what an honest fellow he is, claiming he doesn't know any other way to be. But, myself, I would have to question the 'honesty' of selling as a "book" something that clearly is not, and promising to teach when all he really wants to do is make a lot of money on this 'book' and maybe sell you a few more 'products' of his own creation.

This book just blew me away regarding the fascinating world of selling by mail!...The fact is, Mr. Thomas gives you a complete home study course for starting and operating your own mail order business. After reading this book, and receiving the blue print for success and motivation to pursue it, I decided to market my very own "how to" information book by mail and have already made over $23,000! I cannot thank Mr. Thomas enough for his honest, straight shooting strategies and tricks of the trade. This book is fun to read, and very informative IF you choose to implement the techniques and strategies Mr. Thomas so freely shares.

Wow! Finally I found someone who tells the real truth about how to make money in mail order. It's obvious Mr. Thomas practices what he preaches and he freely shares his experience in this fast, fun-reading book. I learned how to write my first ad, how to put together a direct mail package, how to find a product to sell and more. After reading this book, I put Mr. Thomas' strategies to the test and walked away with a nice profit on my first direct marketing campaign. If you want a get rich quick scheme, forget this book. If you want to know the real truth behind all your junk mail and those ads, read this book! I highly recommend it.

WOW! THis book really opened my eyes to the fascinating world of mail order. After reading this informative and thourough look at the mail order business, I was inspired to finally try and market my own "how to" book. using the techniques and strategies presented so honestly and clearly by Terry Thomas...! This book is fun to read, cocers ALL aspects of mail order, with particular emphasis on advertising and marketing. If you're looking for a "get rich quick" deal, this is not it. however, if you are serious about selling or entering the mail order business this is an excellent study and resource too. The section on how to spot scams alone is well worth the price!
