Very involving story,
By Katie Parker (Wisconsin) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Earning Eternity (Paperback)
Just when you think the main characters are about to live happily ever after, something else happens to thwart that goal. The action never lets up, resulting in a very involving story.

Emotional rollercoster!,
By Bonita "btasutton" (Ut United States) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Earning Eternity (Paperback)
This is one of the best LDS non-fiction books that I've read...It wasn't as predictable as many are and Josi doesn't hold back allowing you to feel every emotion that the characters go through. I began reading in the morning and let the dishes sit in the sick all day since I could not put the book done until it was finished! I loved it! Thanks Josi!!

It started off good....,
By Cindy "Shrinkskid" (Provo, UT USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Earning Eternity (Paperback)
This book is a story about a woman who falls in love with another man while she is still married, and then marries him in the temple after her divorce is final. A marriage affair that is termed 'Earning Eternity'. It doesn't go along with the LDS doctine. Josi needs to study about LDS divorces and LDS(Mormon)policy before she writes another one. Sorry Josi.

Emotional Roller Coaster!,
This review is from: Earning Eternity (Paperback)
I thought this book probably wouldn't be as good of quality as Josi Kilpack's others since it was her first one, but i was wrong. It is so well written, the plot is really well thought out and not predictable, and the characters and their situation is so real. I love that she dedicated the book to those whose lives didn't turn out the way they planned. It was very fitting, and I know there are a lot of people that it definitely applies to. It really made me think about marriage and about trying to find the right person and being aware of risks. She takes you on quite an emotional roller coaster in this book and I loved it!

This book will definitely hold your attention and is well worth your time. It is a little different from normal LDS fiction books, but is a very good read.
