I've never been a huge reader, but this book had me hooked from start to finish. I've always heard that "the harder you work, the luckier you get", but this delineates the truthfulness of that principal. The way Mr. Llopis puts it all together is masterful, with a distinct hint of his personality. I highly recommend this book to all entrepreneurs, sale-people, parents, friends, students, or anyone that is looking to "climb the ladder".

This is a very easy read. The vocab is very simple and the concepts are broken down and explained very well. The ideas are not only applicable to businesses and career oriented people, but life in general. I really liked this book and what it has to offer.

Wow! The first thing that struck me after finishing this book is how incredibly simple, yet seemingly elusive, creating ones own fortune could be.

This has got to be one of the best approaches to business (or life, really) that I have ever read; plotting a four step approach that encompasses a vision to see, seize, grow and share opportunity. It is a philosophy that will resonate strongly with young professionals of my generation, especially given the relevance to today's uncertain times.

This book is so fascinating! I was intrigued from the start. In the first few chapters I was amazed at how my vision altered on power, responsibility, and possibilities. By the end of the book I found out: who I am, what I want to become, and how to do that. Earning Serendipity will always be an inspiration in my life!

Also, Glenn's father is very wise and inundated with captivating quotes to live by.

Earning Serendipity did a great job of helping me realize the greatest asset and key to my future and success. That asset/key is myself and how I respond in certain situations. Glenn truly captures your attention through the power of his childhood lessons and stories. As he walks you through his life you are able to better understand how you too can earn better fortune in the workplace and with the people you interact with on a day to day basis by utilizing four simple skills. Easy read, great lessons.

Who knew we could position ourselves and create our own good fortune and luck? Learn and develop skills on how to do just this after reading this book! I was forced to self-assess myself through the lessons taught and ideas delivered in this book! Opportunities are continuously available for the open, seeking eye, and Glenn Llopis teaches how to spot, position, and be ready for these opportunities. This is a must read and a book that should be read annually if not more often. You will get something different out of it everytime. This book is a good read and i got a lot out of it. I learned that its not about who you know in the business world but its about taking advantage of what you are good at and know who you are and do what you want. this book made me realize I should never settle but i should do what I have always wanted. I recommend this book if your a person who would just take any job because this book will make you want to go get your dream job. its a really easy read and it gives great advice on how you should live in the work area. I met the author and you can see the passion he has for this book and what it stands for.

Earning Serendipity was an insightful read on how success is dependent on yourself and not your situations. The book does not use complicated self help jargon but is easily relatable to the reader. Glenn Llopis does a great job of empowering the reader to take charge of their serendipity.
I enjoyed the easy read and practicality of this book. I would encourage anyone looking at this book to pick up a copy and try to find Glenn in a lecture or seminar setting.

Earning Serendipity was a great read. Beyond giving great advice, the book goes deeper by telling you how to achieve success in your own life and helping others at the same time. I did not have to sit all day and read the book, i was able to read it one time through and retain all the information i found pertinent to my own life. I have been lucky enough to speak with Dr. Llopis on more than one occasion, and believe me, the man knows what he is talking about. He is very wise and experienced and everyone will benefit one way or another by reading this book. I give it an A++!

Although this book is recommended for people working in the business world and others learning about business, I would personally recommend this book to everyone. This book does not just teach you how to succeed in the business world, it teaches you how to succeed in every endeavor you go after. The concept of earning your own luck may seem a little far fetched, but Glenn Llopis explains it in four simple steps. This book is such an easy read because he uses everyday language to explain a complex topic. May favorite part about Earning Serendipity is that it challenged me in ways I never knew I needed to be challenged in.
