it is not common knowledge how very drastically the surface and climate of earth has changed many times in its life so far. for example, siberia was once a tropical area which is why there is so much oil and fossil fuels under all the ice. this book describes previously unknown changes that have occurred and those which are yet to occur. it also outlines how, through our attitudes and behavior, energy and karma are built up to either help or hinder our progress as a national or world civilization regarding environmental catastrophies that could and have been avoided.

I'm not surprised when we don't request a refund on something we paid say, pennies for. Who has time for that? I just wish I would have been made aware that there was water damage to this book before I placed my order. Instead, I was 'surprised'! I probably would have purchased differently. Everyone loves a deal but not everyone loves a surprise. I love books and I buy books! I love to find the occasional quirky bookmark here and there, yes . . . nice surprise. But it would really depend on what bowl of water was responsible for wetting this particular book, to cause a smile. Hmmm . . Holy Water . . . now, that, would be surprising!
