wonderful ideas for parents, teachers, and kids!,

I have used this book for years in my classroom and now with my child. It's one to revisit each season as it has too many ideas to remember at once. The book focuses on natural celebrations (i.e. solstices, change of season) and offers unique ideas to use with everyone, but esp. kids. There are plays, recipes, craft projects, resources to write away for(i.e. how to adopt a whale), and many more...I wish every school and parent used this book to reestablish the essential connection to our Mother Earth!

This review is from: Earth Child: Games, Stories, Activities, Experiments & Ideas about Living Lightly on Planet Earth (Paperback)
Very entertaining presentation of hundreds of environmental projects and life building skills for children AND ADULTS. Every chapter has ideas that develop creativity and logic and self-respect. Many of these projects help develop communication skills along with many other life skills. And all the while, teaching us that environmental action can be playful.
