Great short stories plus the two books "Pebble In The Sky"-the first in the EMPIRE trilogy and his first novel, and "End Of Eternity", another classic. Stickly from an economic viewpoint, its like three books in one, (anthology and two novels) saving quite a bit, plus the fact you are getting two superlative Asimov classic and must reads. You must read the empire novels, the robot novels, and the foundation novels, all leading up to his final works pulling them together. Like Larry Nivens "known space", Asimov (who started this MUCH earlier) keeps true in each series, building his future landscape. It's amazing how authors like him can keep it all together. An excellent edition of these classic novels and well worth it. As I said..the CLASSICS.

The Far Ends of Earth and Time contains two Ike novels (Pebble in the Sky and The End of Eternity) and one short story collection (Earth Is Room Enough). Pebble in the Sky was Asimov's first publised work.

very dated, very Asimov and VERY GOOD. Makes me remember how we saw the future of science/techology when we were young anwas soooo exciting but when read/reread today, the concepts and plots within plots are still quite masterful wirh the ONLY criticism being their nomenclature for their tech, but, this is not allowing for 40years of retospect.well worth reading!

I love Asimov's work so when I found this book online at a bargain I jumped on it; it currently sits on my Sci-Fi shelf alongside his other works.

Asimov was definitely ahead of his time and this book demonstrates it, we've even advanced to the point where some of his stories seem closer to "reality" than "science fiction."

A classic, with two novels and not his best short stories. But includes The End of Eternity, Asimov's never copied time travel masterpiece. Other novel is good too.
