I fell in love with this music when EFC premiered. I was so excited when I heard it was going to be released on CD. When I finally recieved my EFC Soundtrack, I listened to it for hours. This Cd is absolutely wonderful! I love the celtic like music that is intertwined throughout several of the tracks. The only disappointment was that the track 1:Main Title (the music included at the begining of the show) is only 53 seconds long but, truly a masterpiece no matter how short. This music is great for meditation or just relaxing. This is truly a must have!

One of the best things about E:FC is the music. The Soundtrack is top notch and is very original for a TV show. If you are a fan of the show then you don't need a reason. If you like new age or instramental music this is also a great CD for you. However if you are looking for Star Trek type music which is very happy and uplifting you might be disapointed. The Music of E:FC reflects the feeling of the TV show. Earth has been invaded by enigmatic aliens. The music has a mysterious and sombre feeling. The CD is worth it just to have the theme song and the ending vocals from the TV show. Favorite Tracks: Main Title, Sleepers, Atavus, Dimensions and Volunteers. I hope they do a Volume 2 because theres alot more great music in the later seasons of the show.

I'm a big fan of the show (or at least the first 3 seasons), and finally bought the CD as I really enjoy the music. I gave the CD a quick listen and thought it 'OK', but now that I've had some free time to really relax and listen to it, I find I enjoy it much more than I originally thought. Many times I find soundtracks are great when accompaying the action onscreen (setting the mood), but come up lacking when they must stand alone. I'd say roughly 3/4 of the music on this CD can stand alone. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was I'd like to hear more!
Some here have stated some music from the show is missing, and if so, I hope the authors include it on a later CD as promised?
If you like relaxing music, some with a bit of Celtic flavor, you need to make time to give this one a listen.
BTW, my favorite track on the CD is The Secret of Strandhill/Redemption (track 2).

i like the music very much, and i think it is quite chinese styled. anybody agree here? just because the main instrument in the main title is alto fiddle, a traditional chinese ancient instrument. they mixed it with others perfectly.great!!

This cd, is a stand alone. Somestimes, when one buys Original Composition, it all starts to sounds the same, more then likelly because the composers are not growing with their music. This C.D is beautiful, captivating and a pleasure to listen to. One can immagine getting lost in thought and meditation while listening to it. I would recomend it to anyone interested in just different music, or Original Composition...

This is a great compliment to the show. If you are a Earth: Final Conflict fan, this is a must buy! It captures the rhythms and emotions of the show perfectly, and if you watch the show every week there needs nothing to be explained.

If you are not a fan of the show, this cd will still be a great addition to your collection. It contains many themes that are mixed very well throughout the cd. The music takes you on a ride through the many mixed emotions that are conveyed through the great plots and twists that has made the show the hit it is.

This is a great buy and has quickly become one of the best cds that I own.

I loved it! the haunting music is just as ethereal as the Taelons. I'm a huge fan of the show. The haunting Iridh music is my favorite as well as the first and the last tracks. THere's no techno in this CD, and most words fail to describe it.

I loved it. The haunting vocals caught my attention while I watched the show so I had to get them for myself. While some of the tunes were missing, the CD was worth the wait. It's soothing, haunting, and mesmerizing. During the action sequences you can almost see the scenes they came from. Best original score TV soundtrack that I've come across since Crusade. Well worth the money.

I just received the CD in the mail and I am playing it for the third time now, I just can't stop listening to it! (though it's almost midnight...)
This music is so relaxing and it totally soothes a stressful mind, I love it. Whenever you feel like hearing some out-of-the-ordinary music, or reliving those typical Taelon moments, buy this CD! You won't regret it!

I got this CD for a christmas present for my husband, and now can't stop listening to it myself! I'm not really a fan of the show, though its his favorite. Its on late and I usually go to bed so had no idea what the music was like. When he put it into the CD player though, I was hooked. Fan or not you'll love this music, its energizing and relazing all at once, superb!
