5.0 out of 5 stars Best air freshener we know of., June 27, 2007
My wife and I run a medical practice that focuses on people with environmental allergies and this is the only air freshener we use. Parsley and parsley oil is used in the top cooking schools for neutralizing odors like fish and garlic. It works great and leaves a very light fresh cut grass kind of a scent.

5.0 out of 5 stars Ice Cream Scent, December 26, 2007
I've been buying the Vanilla Air Refresher for months and use it on the family couch, my Jeep, pet bedding, people bedding, closets and to freshen jackets or clothing. It smells like real ice cream, fresh without being overpowering. The scent doesn't fade completely away but becomes more subtle on fabrics. Well worth buying a case!

5.0 out of 5 stars Works great, August 17, 2008
This is the most wonderful air freshener. If you happen to be under the mist as you spray it, you will smell like vanilla afterwards, and not in a bad way.

5.0 out of 5 stars A Very Natural Cirtis Aroma but Beware, March 3, 2008
This review is from: Earth Friendly Products Uni-Fresh Natural Air Refresher, Non-Aerosol, Citrus - 4.4 Ounces (Pack of 12) (Health and Beauty)

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WARNING !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just received this package from Amazon after my post a few days ago.

Some of the bottles leaked during shipping (and I was missing a bottle), and the ones that leaked - the plastic caps had "melted" onto the bottle. Yes, melted. The plastic was gooey soft and malleable. When I bought my bottles from Whole Foods, if I didn't use the whole bottle in a short period of time I noticed before that the caps appeared to have melted on the inside, where the pump sprayer pointed. But I didn't think it was the air freshener liquid itself. I read the ingredients and I didn't see anything that I thought would react to plastic to this extreme degree. So I brushed it off.

But after receiving the 12 pack and having the plastic all gooey and melted to the bottles, there IS something in this air freshener that causes plastic to melt and disintegrate.

Use with caution. Myself, I think I'll go back to mixing my own essential oils in spite of how wonderful this aroma is.

And I can't seem to change my five star review to a 3 star review.

=========================================================================

I bought a 4.4 oz. bottle of the Citrus Scent air freshener from Whole Foods, for just about $6.00 per bottle. So Amazon's price for a 12 pack isn't bad at all.

This citrus scent is absolutely wonderful. It has a very natural scent, not the usual chemical-smelling, artificial aroma one typically gets in most store bought sprays. The scent is rather strong but not over powering, which means it'll last a little while after it's sprayed. It has a distinct, predominantly orange smell, with hints of lemon and lime. The Citrus Scent also has some strong base notes than compliment the citrus aromas perfectly. Though it's not listed as an ingredient, I swear I almost smell a tad bit of vanilla when I first spray it. The strong base notes are a perfect compliment with the sweet orange, lemon and lime top notes.

The nice thing about this brand is that it comes in a screw top plastic bottle. I bought a fan driven air freshener - the kind with the jar of scented oil and a wick, and poured the contents of the 4.4 oz. bottle into the air freshener jar and used this instead of the scent that came with the air freshener. Now I get this scent all through the day throughout the living room.

(I mix my own essential oils for my bedroom, with a night time blend of Jasmine absolute, Ylang Ylang and Lavender - no carrier oil, and spray it on my pillow).

Mostly though, this is the most natural smelling scent I've ever bought. And believe me, I've bought a lot! I'm very discriminating when it comes to aromas, and this product has earned it's five stars. If you don't want to take the time to mix your own essential oils, you will not be disappointed with this.

I *highly* recommend this product.

5.0 out of 5 stars long lasting scent, November 4, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I bought this product years ago and it was packaged differently - in a larger aerosal spray can. This is a smaller pump spray but that is OK too. I'll use a few for gift giving and the rest will be kept for future use. Can't seem to find it in the stores. Has a strong scent and is long lasting - good for bathrooms and kitchens or inside your car.

5.0 out of 5 stars Very pleasant fragrance of cinnamon in an earth friendly dispenser, October 16, 2008

Smells like real cinnamon, not a synthetic chemical smell like so many other scents, without being overwhelming. As an added bonus, comes in a non-aerosol bottle that works well for dispensing it. Far better then any other I've tried before.
