After my first child's birth I was swollen and discovered a ruptured stitch from a second-degree tear. While ice soothed some, I knew that I needed something more. I saw Earth Mama products on line and ordered the Postpartum Recovery Kit. The Mama Bottom Balm was part of it and boy did it make a difference. It soothed, cooled and healed me in no time. During my second pregnancy, I discovered hemorrhoids. The prescription cream did nothing. I remembered having some of this left over and even though it was past the due date, I was had heavenly relief after a few days of use. I ordered two more jars in addition to another Postpartum Recovery Kit in preparation for the time following this delivery. It is a must have product.

Just as all the other reviewers have said, this stuff is simply marvelous! It is cooling and soothing and helps with all of the "issues" that come from pregnancy and childbirth. Can't recommend it enough.

I am expecting my fifth baby in about a month, and I am ordering another lovely jar of this stuff. It's indispensable if you tear, but even if you don't, it's so soothing. It's great for those pre-natal hemorrhoids and varicosities, as well as the post-partum soreness and stretching. I just can't live without it.
My post-partum routine has become: Step 1: wash with warm water from the peri bottle, Step 2: spray some Earth Mama Bottom Spray, Step 3: apply the Earth Mama Bottom Balm. This is marvelously cold and soothing relief.
