I'm over six feet tall and pushing 300lb. This is the most sturdy, comfortable beach chair I've ever owned. Every summer I usually have a buy a new beach chair because they just can't deal with my bulk dropping down on them repeatedly. This is the first chair I've ever seen that took the abuse. It may be a few bucks more but it was a great buy.

Also, in my experience it folds very easily (unlike the experience of a different reviewer). Rather than folding 'flat' like most beach chairs it folds into a 'cylinder' like a telescoping camp chair.

This is the highest quality "lawn chair" that I've ever seen. It's solid and obviously built to last. It folds up easily and is surprisingly lightweight. But if you plan to take it with you, pay attention to the folded dimensions; this thing is tall when folded up - much taller than any other chair of its type. Also, be aware that when seated you'll be in a partially reclined position. If you don't like leaning back, don't purchase this chair. If they made this in a model that sat me up straighter, I'd probably purchase another.

This chair has a nice, high back! Most chairs have short backs and if you want to sit back and relax it is impossible. With this chair, you can lean back and relax. I bought it for my husband. I could not get him to let me sit in it. That says a lot. It folds into a carry bag. It also has a drink holder. Great item for camping. For plus size and regular people. Love it!
