I use one of these to broadcast the various green manure/cover crop seeds I use. I have done Winter Rye, Clover and Hairy Vetch and it works well with all of them. I can cover a lot of ground quickly and get even coverage(my garden area is 100 feet by 150 feet) and the unit is very well built. the only drawback was that the shoulder strap was a bit too narrow for carrying a full load of seed, but from the picture on this one it looks like they have fixed that.
