"Earthed" is a soothing, sonic audio experience. Steve Kilbey's instrumental CDs are very mellow, satiating and pleasant offerings. "Earthed" is his seminal instrumental CD and I really enjoyed the environmental themes and atmospheric music. The "Gilt Trip" CDs are also musical gems that are a bit more ambient and elaborate than "Earthed". A real bonus of Earthed is the booklet of essays by Kilbey. In addition to being an exemplary composer and vocalist, Steve Kilbey is also a sterling painter, writer, blogger and prose poet.
