Gennaro G. Marino has a Ph.D in civil engineering from the University of Illinois specializing in geotechnical engineering. He has twenty-five years of experience and is a licensed professional engineer with a national certification. From his research and practical experience Dr. Marino has authored over seventy publications on advanced engineering topics mostly dealing with ground movement including earthquake motions. As a result of his experience with earthquake damage, Dr. Marino has also published a textbook and developed training programs on this subject. Dr. Marino's experience includes inspection and evaluation of non-EQ and EQ damages as well as repair alternatives.
