I don't usually write reviews but we have been struggling for a very long time, trying to figure out why our toddler constantly has a runny nose/sinus infection. We had her tested and she is allergic to corn. Well, one of the things we thought was completely safe and healthy to feed her were the Earth's Best pouches, but we were wrong - they contain Citric Acid, which is a Corn Derivative - it's not simply vitamin C - it's mass produced by using mold and corn sugars. If your child is constantly suffering from allergy symptoms and you just can't put your finger on it, try cutting out any product that has corn and corn derivatives (they do exist.) We found that the Peter Rabbit brand of fruit and veggie pouches do not contain ANY of the common allergens and do not use Citric Acid.

I'm giving them one star because they claim to be allergen friendly and they are not.

I'm a new dad trying to supply growing year-old twins with nutritious food that doesn't contain all the extra crap that most baby food manufacturers cram into their products. I was thrilled to find Earth's Best available at my local grocery store as well as Target, Meijer, Amamzon, etc. since convenience is a real benefit for me right now. After feeding them EB products for months, I ran into an article online about an epoxy used on the lids of the glass jars of EB baby food that is known to contain BPA and phthalates. I'm by nature a skeptical guy so spent some time looking into this claim. I ended up emailing EB directly and received a reply stating that the claim was true and that they were unaware of a single baby food sold in glass that did not contain BPA. They also told me to check out their "pouches" which did not contain BPA. My disappointment is in the company's lengthy pitches about how nutritious and natural their products are despite being contaminated with substances now unequivocally linked to negative effects in people who consume them. And while I like the pouches, it's important that you read the ingredient list before purchasing since many of them contain ingredients that are made in a lab, so not natural by any standard.
FYI, here's the ingredient list for Puree Pears, directly from the EB.com website:

Ingredients: Organic Pear, Water, Citric Acid, Vitamin A Palmitate, Mixed Tocopherols (Vitamin E), Zinc Sulfate, Ascorbic Acid.

This puree is awesome--no added sugar, etc., and my 20 month old ADORES it. She can even drink it like a smoothie, directly from the pouch and she gets a really big kick out of it. It's great for traveling (car, plane, etc). I bought just one pouch from my local store to try, and my daughter kept begging for more after the pouch was empty. So, here I am, ordering a case of it! :) Highly recommended.

These fruit packs are the best. No refrigeration so you can carry them in your purse. My daughters love them and I know they are getting some fruits and veggies. Great alternative to normal salty snacks

My mother in law picked up some of these from Toys R Us for $2 a pouch for my 5 month old son, who had just started solids. There are a lot of food and skin allergies in my family as well as my husband's and I am very picky about what my son eats, and what skin products he uses. (Everything gives him a rash.) My mother in law chose these because she thought I would approve of them, and I do. My son loves both the pear and banana flavors that his Grandma got him. However, he doesn't necessarily show a preference for Earth's best over Happy Baby or Plum Organics. He is just happy to eat lol. He prefers the pouches over jars because I will sometimes let him hold them. I prefer the pouches over jars because the lid coating on basically all jarred food contains BPA. I purchased the Choomee Sip'n tops here on Amazon to use with all of his pouches, and I definitely recommend them if you are going to use pouches.

These went over really well with my 9 month old. We're doing baby lead weaning, so she's been exposed to quite a lot of foods that don't necessarily fit with the number or stage on the package. I don't typically advocate for giving babies pouch meals because you can't see what's in them, but Earth's Best has been a fabulous brand that we have come to trust. My daughter slurps these down when we need an easy to go meal, straight out of the straw even! The only bummer is that the grooves for the cap to screw onto aren't really conducive to eating right from the pack. I worry about it tearing her gums. Other than that, the flavor is spot on and we had no food intolerance issues.

Baby loves it, I love it. Very affordable and convenient. whats not to love? We have no complaints, delivery to door of course saves time for my son. He is 11 months old and will eat 3 of these in a row if he knows where we keep them.
