The text then explains causes and effects and suggests possible solutions. Each volume has colorful illustrations, charts, and What would you do? sidebars that challenge readers to use their knowledge and analytical skills. Suggested answers are presented in the back matter. Unfortunately, there are no maps to show the location of the countries mentioned.
