Le Guin's reappraisal of Earthsea and the changes leading to,
By A Customer
This review is from: Earthsea Revisioned: A Lecture at Oxford (Paperback)
This book is based on an essay Le Guin presented at a conference. In it, she discusses the forces that brought about "Tehanu," the fourth book of Earthsea. The discussion focuses on the ongoing sexual revolution and how it may be seen represented in the shifts between the first three of the Earthsea novels, written between 1968 and 75, and "Tehanu," written in 1990. It's good--ES Revisioned is, that is!
