Overall, what a great spreader - can not be possibly compared with your local big box store's cheap, low-quality impostors like Scotts TurfBuilder model with plastic wheels. Big, sturdy pneumatic wheels, quality parts throughout - very happy with this purchase (My local lawn and garden store is carrying this model and this model only for a much higher price: close to $120. Someone at the store told me she's had this exact spreader for 11 years now with no problems whatsoever.)

One reviewer mentioned here that the handle is too short for tall people - I disagree. I am 6'01 and the handle (set on the highest setting) is just fine.

I have a large lawn and I fertilize three times during the year. The lawn has some bumpy areas so I wanted a spreader with pneumatic wheels. I used the Earthway 2030PPlus once and had no problems. It handled a 42 pound bag of fertilizer with great control.

Used for fertilizer and the only issue I came accross was that the wheels are small and can get stuck easily but was not that big of a deal, although, I plan to also use it for spreading salt in the winter, waiting to see if it will be a summertime useage only item.

Does what it's supposed to do. I like the inflatable tires for my yard, which is a bit rough is spots.

If you are over 6 feet you will not be able to comfortably push this spreader without hitting the bottom support bar. Other than that it works well. Just the same I returned it as who wants to live with this annoyance. There is a second set of holes to increase the length of the handle, but it is stll too short.

This is the best spreader I have ever used. Much better then anything sold at the big box stores. The 4" wide pneumatic wheels really make a difference. And best of all, Earthway products are made in the USA in Indiana.
