I rarely hand out 5 star reviews, if ever. I was in my mid-twenties when a friend showed me this. You can still see that the graphics are absolute top notch for SNES. The genius of the interactivity will seduce you to finish it, but of course some levels will be your favorite. It's quite funny too. If you like this game then you should play Conkers Bad Fur Day for the later unit: Nintendo 64.

I love this whole series and this is the one that started it all. Earthworm Jim has a unique mix of great music, beautiful graphics, funny/awkward/creepy/insane characters and very interesting story. A game that anyone can enjoy that has a sense of humor or just enjoys a good game. this game has gotten a lot more recognition since it was rereleased on xbox live and playstation network has soared in value from 4 dollars to almost 15 dollars and climbing. get a copy before the price shoots up any higher.

i love this game. its one that i used to play when i was younger, and it takes me back. i love to whip the worm out of the suit and hit baddies. ITS ABSOLUTE INSANITY!!!!!

I remember playing this game as a kid, so I had to get it and see if it was as good as I remembered. For the most part, it was :) However, I found that in the Earthworm Jim games, there will be a couple levels that just stray from fun and into crap. But, I still recommend this game, just look up some cheats to get through the bad levels.

Earthworm Jim is just a bizarre and fun games! There is plenty of silly humour in it and it is a fun platformer and side scroller shooter, I cannot recommend this game enough! It is one of my favorites and a beloved series for the snes to many! If you like wacky adventures in your platform games, then here is your huckleberry! 10/10
