I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of this product. It is an excellent tool to learn Spanish phrases quickly. The music and the pauses between the teacher and the expected response are perfect. I like this so much that I intend to purchase volume 2. However, there are two things I would change about this downloadable product. First, I would eliminate the male narrator and his inane and atrociously presented memory aid about counting in Spanish. It is terrible. It is distracting. Second, I would offer the purchaser a downloadable list of the words used in the program. Love this set of series, backgroung beat helps learning.........very soothing way to learn! I would buy any of this series, they offer alot of languages to learn.

HAHAHAHAHAHA..... Damn it.... I had this idea years ago... LOL. I think, and this is my opinion, that this product is way late coming out and this is why. I learn songs off of CDs and radio without being aware that I have learned them. If I hear a song long enough, repetitive wise, I'm going to eventually learn the lyrics, it happens to me all the time. With this product, I just pop the CD into the player, ignore the lessons, listen to the music and let repetition do it's magic. Traffic has never been sweeter. This IS a good idea. This CD... this method... is for right brained people. Sure, other people may prefer other music and things of such but in my opinion, Berlitz is on the right track. Over time, I believe, that this method will develop so that the different types of music lovers will have a format that suits them. And yes, I am waiting for Vol. #2.
